Erika is a New York City based industrial designer and a graduate of the Product Design BFA program at Parsons School of Design. Erika defines function beyond the physical and considers the roles of habit, emotion, and culture as they are embodied through products. She challenges the distinction between speculation and modernist definitions of design by giving critical thinking tangible outcomes. She hopes that by working this way, that speculative and critical design conversations can become more participatory.
